friday, january 8, 1999, 03:49 another kind of me turns 2 years old tomorrow. gifts always welcome. getting my teeth yanked soon. this should prove to be fun. decided today that the Lauan page doesn't suck as much as i thought i did, so i just spent the night fixing what was there instead of worrying about replacing it with something mediocre. i'll work on it for a while and replace it with something great sometime down the line. seems that all i do these days is work on web sites. oh yeah. i know that there are tons of stories kicking around in my head but i am not nearly focused enough to concentrate them all into anything even mildly coherent, nor do i really seem to want to. my brain is not allowing it right now. on considering a move back to school, i consider these points. one: i don't seem to be getting much work done at home. two: i probably will get just as little work done at school. three: the house here is cold. four: the landlord pays for my heat up at school. five: career planning services are up at school. six: i need a job come five months from now. seven: my mom takes care of me at home and makes me omlettes. eight: most of my friends are gone from home and i've been wasting my days watching television. nine: i really don't like win95. ten: the floor in my apartment is crooked and my chair rolls all over the place. oh, and i believe i have a job interview on the 15th. all of these issues combine into the fact that i really have no idea what to do, nor do i really know what i am doing awake right now. i guess it all comes down to whether i can finish this tales of the city book in the next day or so while under the influence of codeine.
