And what can be really said about Jon? When it comes down to it, there's really a lot that I don't know about him. I do know that he's really passionate about being a teaching assistant. Has basically sold his soul to the computer science, and to 15 in particular. going to be a head TA for that next semester. which means that he'll be dealing with more crap than ever.and loving it?
hard to tell. he's definitely passionate about it. and it seems to define who he is these days. he's a good ta. helpful. willing to listen. and a good coder to boot.
heh. in fact, since most of his time is spent with his ta work, course work doesn't often get done 'till the night before (or after, or so) the assignment is due.
start early. start now. start yesterday.

and when there's not Jon the ta, there's jon the party animal. or something along those lines. not being one for parties, i don't get to see what happens at these event.
often around to see the results though. see a jon broken by the parties. staring up at the ceiling for hours. drunk. or not. it's mostly the same. often goes with the intent of finding that certain, special someone. and most likely failing.
personally, i've never felt that parties are the right place to meet anyone.

is that the way you really want to remember meeting someone. First impressions and all.
don't know why he should be having these problems though. a great guy. really. i'm not just saying that because he'd smack me upside the head if i didn't.
I'd put money on the goatee, of which i am not a big fan, but hey, see for yourself.
