Didn't really know too much about this one other than the fact that he had written this kick ass final project for our intro cs course. It was 3d. But that was the project. Make it 3d. No, he had to show everyone up and put his in actual three dimensional space. You know, like a Star Wars fly through type bullshit thing. It was really impressive.
i thought he was a coding god at that point. I was later to learn that this course was his first experience coding. Ever. wow. damn.
Yeah he was cool. Too cool for me.
Forgot all about that until we started TAing together the next semester. He was still really cool, and I still didn't know him. I suppose we became friends over that semester. Now we're going to be rooming together our junior year. How strange.
Danny looks like jesus when he's not shaven. He used to do musical theatre. In fact, he played jesus in JC Superstar. But he's given that all up to do cs. I've seen him dance. It's probably for the best.
He also took sanskrit last semester. As his fifth course. his elective. I think he's finally given that up, but he's got enough other stuff to do that it doesn't really matter any more. He's now part of the cs4 posse.
Really smart, he damn near killed himself early sophomore year. I think he's learned to mange his time better. Regardless, he's not completely nuts any more. At least, as unnuts as anyone in the cs department can be.
