S.T.O.P

Students and Teachers for Our Planet

S.T.O.P is a group of students and teachers who are committed to protecting the earth. Our purpose is to increase awareness of environmental and social issues, make our school more environmentally responisible, and work with and support larger environmental groups throughout the world. For the past few years, S.T.O.P memebers have run paper and aluminum can recycling programs at Greeley. Toward the goal of awareness we have coordinated Earch Day activities and have brought in speakers such as Robert Kennedy, Jr. We have also been involved in letter-writing campaigns to put an end to things such as deforestation and ozone depletion. In addition to continuing these great projects, we have many new ideas, and we'd love to hear yours as well.
