friday, july 2, 1999, 19:13, beijing now, we didn't actually think that i could go this long without logging in somewhere did i? oh sure, in china, on vacation, and i've surprisingly enough not been going crazy trying to find myself an internet connection. and here i am. funny how these things work themselves out. there is just so much to say about it around here. how there really are bicycles everywhere. how it has been about a hundred degrees here. how we did see this enormous buddha. and so much more. and yet none of it comes to mind right now. i'm really just having such a good time on vacation, relaxing and seeing all this cool shit that it's not really doing anything for my writing. there is so much to say, and no words to say it with. oh well. maybe i'll show you the pictures when i get back.
