another kind of me

a trip through me

wednesday, march 31, 1999, 18:54

one of the last holdouts in the country where information still longs to be free. there's some sort of big manifesto behind this somewhere, but all i have to say is that it's a wonderful thing to be able to walk into a library in san francisco, stand behind a dec vt420 terminal and be able to check my email and surf the web.

between this and a hotmail account (or something similar), nobody in the country (or at least in any large metropolitan center) should be without email and access to the world.

i think i'm just feeling all good about the world because the sun is shining, the wind is blowing, and i'm not thinking at all about school. instead, i'm thinking about the gallery i went to last night where i met up with kids from school, both those who have already graduated and, randomly enough, two whare are still there with me. and we sat there and listend to some trancy stuff and listened to the earliest workings of a new punk rock opera of the story of electra (elektra rok for those who will be in the oakland area on may 20th) and i just felt alive again.

and now it's time for me to go off and be alive again in the noe valley.

toodles.
