monday, december 21, 1998, 19:49 gee, maybe now that i'm done with classes and stuff (well, except for this one paper that i'm still /still/ working on) i'll write more about fun stuff like music and sunrises and anything other than the gother-than-thou depressing crap that's been filling these pages for a while. noticing the other day that in a couple of weeks we're going to have the two year aniversary of this site. well, of this segment of the site at least. two years ago i was sitting here, in this room, in the so-called computer room in this house in new york, with a much older computer and a much older printer but with the same desk and the same view out onto the driveway and the same dogs running around my feet. and it was that night when netscape crashed and i decided to write about it. and since that point i've bought myself a whole lot of useless domains and have bitched about a lot of stuff and have yet still kept this part of the site pretty much the same. do i want to change that? dunno yet. one year turn arounds on site redesign seems pretty lame though. but let's just talk about this band that i'm listening to right now. bis is, well, uk teen rock, like the chipmunks meet elastica. but really good. and really fun. and if i was cool i'd have one of those little amazon links here where you could go buy their album and then i'd get store credit, but that's not going to happen because no matter how hard i try, i don't think i could be cool. bleah. i'm more goth than you. pout pout. i need a redesign. good thing i'm going to be away from my home for almost a month. plenty of time.
